Pawl – Young & Faded feat Jimmy Burney

The new single Young & Faded by Swedish artist and producer Pawl starts of as a very minimalistic chill vocal tune, but then gear’s up into a proper club hit once the kick, bass and the chorus kick in. It’s a bit of Roy Ayers – Everyone loves the sunshine but in a 2017 club friendly package.

The Swedish artist and producer Pawl is releasing his new song Young & Faded today, March 10th. In his new single he collaborates with the 2xGrammy nominated singer & songwriter Jimmy Burney.

This will be Pawls first release this year. Pawls previous singles have received international recognition, whereas his music has been supported by the Grammy-winning duo The Chainsmokers, MAKJ and the American radio channel Sirius XM. Today Pawl has more than 2 million streams.

The single is produced by 21y/o Pawl and co-written by Johanna Andén, Adam Ben Yahia and Jimmy Burney. Burney has a history of working with artists such as Natalie La Rose, Mohombi and Charlie Wilson. “We had a session in L.A. in this small studio where we played around with lyrics and melodies – suddenly, it just clicked. We came up with the hook that goes “I Like, I Like I Like, I Like”, which I personally love. I am really looking forward to the release” Young & Faded is a song with both a side of calm but yet exciting. From a minimalistic set of soaring tones, the song builds up to a rhythmic and catchy drop.
