House Music With Love is more than just a label, a blog, a podcast series or a heart with the letters HMWL under it. House Music With Love is a organic movement, focusing on finding and telling the stories of great musicians. Whether its about releasing a great techno track on our sublabel Heartbreak Records or it is about publishing a podcast interview with a world renowned producer it all comes down to one thing: sharing the music that we love.
Our story started in 2008 in the south of Sweden. We were one of the first swedish blogs focusing on purely on electronic music. Since then we have grown in size and popularity and we were shortlisted among the top ten Swedish blogs three years in a row.
We work with humans and we also want to meet them. Therefore the blog expanded into a concept parties and clubs in Sweden and Denmark, including the infamous Hacienda in Lund, the Swedish Invasion series at Culture Box Copenhagen and our summer concept Backyard Sessions in Malmö.
Today our ideals lives on, stronger than ever, putting us in the center of the Scandinavian blogosphere when it comes to covering electronic music. Alongside the blog our four boutique record labels continue to establish a strong presence in the independent electro scene. With releases from artists like Mountain Bird, Ascorbite, Rust & Dust, Moon Regiment, CANVAS Simina Grigoriu and Josefine Hellström Hansson we shape the future sound of Swedish electronic music.
