From Pageants to Melodic Beats
Meet DJ SHARE, a shooting star with a beautiful story. Ibiza has a way of drawing in free spirits, and for DJ and producer SHARE (Sharon Pieksma), it has become both home and creative launchpad. Once tipped as a “hidden gem,” she has now firmly stepped into the spotlight with upcoming gigs at Woomoon and Hï Ibiza, and releases on revered labels including Abracadabra and Crosstown Rebels. Her sets are known not only for their hypnotic grooves but also for the infectious energy she radiates on stage, a trademark that keeps crowds hooked wherever she plays.

Beyond the Crown
Some still recognize her from the glamorous world of pageantry: Miss Universe Netherlands 2019. But SHARE never treated the crown as an endpoint. Instead, she used it as a megaphone, bringing global attention to the fight against single-use plastics and broader ecological issues. That passion for the planet has never left her; it pulses through both her life and her music.
From Booth to Studio
Her DJ career began well before her production journey, with SHARE spending years honing her craft in the booth. But in 2019 she made a natural progression: channeling her ideas into her own tracks. By 2022, her debut single “Avatar” had found a fitting home on Abracadabra, the label run by BLOND:ISH. The track was released as part of a world-first: a biodegradable vinyl record, aligning seamlessly with SHARE’s environmental values. It also premiered at an Abracadabra showcase that doubled as a Bye Bye Plastic benefit event. An initiative close to her heart, as she serves as an ambassador for the movement.
Building Her Sonic Identity
Momentum hasn’t slowed since. Her EPs “Firewalk” and “Moon” showcase the range of her sound, weaving deep, melodic textures with euphoric climaxes. On “Oh Please,” released via Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels, she teamed up with Def Eff for a track that’s as groovy as it is playful. Meanwhile, “Moon” offered something more introspective: a deeper cut layered with SHARE’s own voice, meditating on reaching ultimate heights.

From Amsterdam to the World
Her first steps were on home soil, where she lit up the lineups of The Gardens of Babylon, Pleinvrees, and Thuishaven. True cornerstones of the Dutch festival circuit. But it didn’t take long for her energy to ripple outward. Soon SHARE was packing her record bag for stages much further afield: SXM Festival in St. Maarten, Portugal’s Goat Community and Nomad Souk, La Karavane in Morocco, Dubai’s Soho Beach, and Panama’s Reactor and Playa Venao. Each set became a new chapter in her global journey, proving her ability to adapt her sound to any crowd, any vibe.
Rooted in Ibiza
Now calling Ibiza home, SHARE has woven herself into the island’s mystical and magnetic scene. This summer, she’ll once again return to the enchanting WooMoon nights at Cova Santa, where storytelling and sound converge under the stars. But perhaps most exciting is her debut at Hï Ibiza, with a B2B set with Deer Jade, where she’ll share the lineup with legends like Black Coffee and Damian Lazarus.
