HUSA & ZEYADA – The Search for Groove: How Release the Beast was created on the road as response to the dancefloors

Husa & Zeyada exclusively give out the story behind the creation of “Release the Beast” in a recent interview. It’s no secret this track is about unleashing chains, breaking out of captivating cages and releasing your inner beasts by moving to sounds of your heart beats.

So we wanted to bring more energy in the clubs, and we were obsessing about the idea of groove and how to make people dance!”

We chatted with our favorite dynamic duo Husa & Zeyada who reveal that when they started touring in summer of 2022 the album they were touring was “Down-tempo” for the clubs. “We had just released Long Way Home album and we started touring, and it was very… slow, for the clubs we were playing!” Zeyada went on explaining “So we wanted to bring more energy in the clubs, and we were obsessing about the idea of groove and how to make people dance!” The duo further tell us their next gig was a Flying Circus showcase at Cova Santa in Ibiza! “We started digging deeper into a study of what groove is, and how its supposed to move you from your core!” they elaborate. They produced the first draft of the track right before flying to Ibiza, and performed it for the first time at the show. The track is a circus themed journey with experimental groovy melodies, yet they still managed to keep their thrilling, trippy, Husa & Zeyada signature sound.
