Una Palabra is an electronic downtempo interpretation of the timeless Cuban classic by Carlos Varela.

The versatile producer KÖNI (Sol Selectas / Bar 25 / HMWL) teamed up with Argentinian singer songwriter Javier Manik to record a 2022 magical downtempo version of one of Cuba’s most known songs.

The remix is delivered by veteran The Scumfrog turning the track into an electro version with Western influences and a spoken word poetry vocalist.

The Scumfrog is known for his impressive collection of remixes including the ones for Kylie Minogue, Missy Elliott, Paris Hilton, New Order, and Annie Lennox.
