HMWL: What’s an ideal setting for listening to your music?
Think City: Our musical creations are diverse, hence an ideal setting for listening to your music are: spiritual ritual, while doing yoga, family gathering, cooking, while riding bikes, swimming, chilling out in the park with friends, beaching out, bar, lounge, clubs or at the raves where everyone is having a blastJ! Just about anywhere!
HMWL: When and where did you produce and find the ideas for this Ep?
In September 2019 when we were holidaying in Tenerife Island in Spain. There we stayed at Alma Zen Yoga studio from our friend Papa Kike. Hanging out with our big bro Paco Arana and taking part in shamanic ritual in the mountains of Tenerife with Shaman Anita inspired us to do this deep melodious yet Funky EP Alma Zen. It was just flowing while working with Ivano and Ernest Oh.
HMWL: How has your sound developed while making music under lockdown?
Yes this peaceful setting of lockdown in Germany during last year definitely gave us lots of time to devote creating music. We feel that each new track we produce makes us better than before.
HMWL: If you had to be a 90’s boy band, which would you be?
Anup: Definitely Back Street Boys :-D !
Chris: yeah Back Street Boys, my Sister loved them! :-D
HMWL: How would you describe your music to someone that has never heard it before?
Think City: Electronic music blended with organic elements. Something deeper and meaningful. Our music tells a story of a Journey of Life in its different facets.
HMWL: If you guys weren’t artists what would you do?
Anup: I would still be hobby artist J
Chris: Maybe a professional Disc Golfer :-D
HMWL: Sunrise or Sunset?
Anup: Love them both but when I have to choose: Its Sunset!
Chris: yeah both are great! But the feeling of playing in front of a crowd into the sunset is priceless
