The Norwegian top list producer Simon Field is up to it again. La La La featuring Sverre V is another top summer tune in the deep house / electro pop key. Brings back the memories of epic movie Kill Bill with Nancy Sinatra Soundtrack.
Norwegian Simon Field is back with a new deep house single that combines a multitude of flavours into one classy package, bringing Nordic cool, pop sensibility and a beautiful blend of organic and electronic textures.
Simon Field is not a stranger to highly anticipated deep house tracks as he already once hit the top of the Spotify Viral Charts thanks to his single Hold On. He also won a Hook & Sling remix competition organised by Spinnin’ Records and TalentHouse.com, which gave him another major boost.
We’re first teased with graceful, trembling strings that play out a melancholic melody. Kylie Auldist, know for lending her vocal to Kungs smash “This Girl”, provides the hypnotic vocal, full of charisma and emotion as flamenco-tinged acoustic guitar rhythms meet 4/4 kicks and slick finger snaps. A lazy house beat and bassline come into play with a steel drum motif as the chorus kicks in, with this Caribbean flavour expanding further as the strings unfold. Crisp production, an abundance of beautiful melody and strong songwriting make it a champion proposition indeed.
Simon has already been described by NRK as “producer to look out for” and having his tracks in movies like “Passanger” and US TV show “Califronication”. His Broken Wings release has already streamed over 3Million on Spotify and also appeared on top 100 in Norway
