I am often sceptical when it comes to samplers of all sorts, mostly because the standard is never on the same level all the way through. Sure, not all of the tracks are equally as good, but nitpicking just for the sake of it and choosing a favourite track is always subjective and boring. However, this sampler manages to be cohesive and to me that shows that there were some intent and thought process with the track selection, and that is always a good thing.

It is refreshing and exciting to have a local label that hopefully in the future can bring as much excitement as the domestic hero-labels like Boss and Aniara to name a few.

Hopefully there will be spring, summer and fall editions to look forward to. Until then, these winter sounds will do just fine.
