French producer and dj The Mekanism a.k.a Damien Roussel has been turning a lot of heads lately. Especially since his release on Seth Troxlers’s Play it say it label, with the EP Acid Love last year. Now also signed to Ralph Lawson‘s 20/20 Vision label, Roussell has a new (really good) EP coming out February the 19th entitled The Revolution. We have been given the honor to premiere the title track, which is a dark and hypnotizing piece of acid house. It’s minimal, yet so suggestive, and also has a backstory to it; it was made in response to the heartbreaking Paris attacks of November 2015.

“Revolution” immediately locks you into its fulsome house groove, wether it’s the stomping kicks, the crispy percussion or the minimal, twirling acid bass. We strongly believe in that it’s going to find its way to a lot of dj sets and hypnotize some dance floors along the way, so don’t miss out on this ep!
