The time has come! We are launching a new and very dear sub-label called With Love Recordings. WLR will be a home for a bit more ambient, down-tempo, chill wave electronica most of the times produced by Swedish artists or artist residing in Sweden.
Born in the French Alps, studied in Paris, then London, Nicolas aka Neeco Delaf fell in love with a Swede and moved to Stockholm for “love not money” and started a PhD in acoustics. He’s been into music since he was a kid, listening to lots of his father’s records of soul, pop, blues and triphop and now with a summertime Neeco Delaf lounge remix of Edda Magnusson’s ‘Cocoamber’ out on Warner Music Sweden, Neeco Follows with his original two-track digital single via With Love Recordings.
Anthropology is an atmospheric and moody electronic chill track that evokes a film noir train journey through the French countryside with a backdrop of a setting summer sun.While Paradise, featuring Swedish vocalist, Fly Nicole is smoky and full of vibes, with Neeco adding some saxophone to whisk you away to one of those namless yet enticing piano bars.
With Love Recordings is a spin-off sister label of house music label HMWL. WLR is about presenting electronic productions in lower bpm regions and always with a bit of moody touch. With a love for good electronic music HMWL and WLR are two electronic indie labels run by Alex Esser, Swedish award winning music entrepreneur and Paul Sonkamble, formerly of EMI, Parlophone, Warner Music and founder of Deerlily Music.
