Win tickets: Radio Slave [Babel, Malmö, January 24th]

Per Hammars club Kiloton at Babel in Malmö celebrates its fourth successful year by inviting Radio Slave!

Matthew Edwards, the real name of Radio Slave, began his carreer in the early 90s with residency at Ministry of Sound in London. Actually Radio Slave originally consisted of Matthew Edwards and Serge Santiago. They worked together doing bootleg remixes for two years (2000-2002) but then Serge left the collaboration leaving Matthew in control of Radio Slave. After continued to produce remixes a couple of years Matthew began to produce his own music in 2006. In the same year he started, together with James Masters, the record label Rekids.

Radio Slave have released a bunch of interesting tracks and remixes, both on his own label and on other renowned labels such as Ostgut Ton and Figure. He do music not in one genre but in very many different hence his music has a great variety. Radio Slave is at his best when he does minimalistic underground techno such as Don’t stop no sleep (Nonplus Records) or more melodic and smooth techno like Bell clap dance (Rekids). In action Radio Slave always gives a great show and delivers music made for dancing.

Radio Slave will surely bring his A-game to Babel and celebrate Kilotons birthday, you should do so too!
