Review: Embassy of Joy – Addiction indcluding Patlac remix [Endless009 – Out Now]

Embassy of Joy

The universal language is Music. The permanent mission of Embassy of Joy is to attain an elevation of music… – Embassy of Joy

Endless is a brainchild of Italian producer Luca Bacchetti. But it is more to it than just a record label. Endless draws inspiration from the concept of traveling, life after all is one long journey. And the label’s philosophy also revolves around the concept of the journey, after all there are endless places to go and endless music to listen to, explains the label founder.

For it’s 9th release the label signs Embassy of Joy, the Hawaiian based duo with a very honest and straightforward approach to creating music: “The universal language is Music. The permanent mission of Embassy of Joy is to attain an elevation of music ” Gretchen timeless vocal would fit as perfect into a 60s psychedelic rock tune as it fits into Addiction’s mesmerizing beats interlacing with the trippy wobbly deep bass and cosmic FX. On the flipside we find the Johannes Brecht dub-techno-ish mix with distorted vocals and a completely amazing hypnotic by our Hamburg based buddy Patlac.

Embassy of Joy are Gretchen Rhodes and the DJ / Producer Marasco who both reside in Maui, Hawaii.
