Well this really is something quite special. It’s the latest release from Andre Crom’s OFF label, and it sees the German’s imprint almost going back to its roots in the sense that there’s a great musicality to everything on show here. it comes at us from Melokolektiv and Darlyn Vlys, themselves two prolific producers for whom the Change of Mind EP marks a stunning release on a label that seems to revel in keeping us guessing to the last.

And as you might have gathered from that last description, this is a release that’s worth waiting for. The original is full of emotion from the very first beat to the last, and it keeps us enthralled thanks to its penchant for gazing towards melancholic pastures. The vocals – supplied by Forest – lend it an almost tangible glow too, and this is definitely a track that’ll work at any stage of the night. The customary remix arrives from Kiki, who conjures up a remix that pretty much is the antithesis of the original. More forceful and less graceful, it’s nonetheless made with a different side of the night in mind. The dub remix sees us out the door, and this one really is a treat throughout.
