The term “sexy house” gets thrown around from time to time. I just figured it was a euphemism for anything that Maceo Plex produced. However, after hearing this mix, I’m starting to understand that term a bit more. There’s something about extra dubby house with deep techno undertones that just gets the blood flowing. Curses puts forth this mix of tunes destined for the late night scene, and although the mixing is not exactly flawless, the effort and intentions are nothing but on point.
