Since then Groovebox have made a very successful career and he has released tracks and remixes on famous labels such as 1605 Music Therapy, Hotfingers, GreatStuff, Toolroom and Pacha. One of his most famous tracks is Brooklyn, released in 2013 on Deeperfect records. Groovebox have also collaborated with well established artists like Umek which have resulted in the tracks Sweet harmony, released in 2014 on Spinnin’ records, and Cause and effects, also released in 2014 on Toolroom Longplayer for naming some. In January this year Groovebox played at the renowned club Pacha in Ibiza and now it’s time for him to visit Copenhagen and play at KB18!
We have talked to Gary Kahn, Feeling Emotive, who answered some questions about the event:
HMWL: How did you come up with the idea to bring Groovebox to Copenhagen?
Gary: At our events, we always have a goal to provide music at the highest level—hosting Groovebox is a prime example. Our label boss, Andrea Martini, has played many of his tracks during the past few months—so we decided that it was about time that they play at the same event.
HMWL: What can we expect of the event?
Gary: Our artists are always keen on involving the crowd, so we except to have good vibes on the dance floor.
HMWL: Usually you host your Feeling emotive parties at Culture Box. How come you have change to KB18?
Gary: In the past, we had 3 awesome parties at Culture Box, but for 2014 we decided to offer our audience something fresh & exciting.
