Ben Klock is a techno DJ, music producer and label owner from Germany. He is perhaps best known for two things; his very long hypnotic sets and for being a resident DJ at legendary Berghain since its opening in 2004. He was already at an early age interested in music and took piano-lesson and he was actually going to study jazz piano at the university. He though realized he was more interested in composing sounds than in practice 8-9 hours a day. Ben first came in contact with electronic music during the late 80’s when he visited acid house parties in Berlin.

In 1998 Ben made his first release Clockworks EP on Clockworks recordings. Back then he was still searching for what he really wanted to do for kind of music. Ben nowadays runs the label Klockworks, established in 2006, with releases from artists such as DVS1, Etapp Kyle, Rod and of course from Mr Klock himself. Ben has also released several tracks on Ostgut Ton for example Subzero, Before one and Compression session 1.

Ben often collaborates with his colleague Marcel Dettmann and together they have created epic sets at festivals for example at Awakenings in 2013. Ben has played at Tomorrowland, Monegros, Amsterdam Dance Event, Space, DC-10, Amnesia and the list goes on. Ben likes to pull of maraton sets and the audience seems to love his deep groovy music. Ben Klock is one of the most important artists in the techno scene at present times so put your dance shoes on and be prepared to dance hour after hour!
