Our Quebecan, Montreál and Barcelona based friends at Microzoo keep delivering one quality release after another.  The label have definitely found it’s uniqueness, both in it’s “slightly lazy sounding” deep house  productions that wokr equally well on dancefloor as at a chilled out barbecue, and in their lovely collection of animal illustrations for the cover art.

The 25th released  is brought to us by Berlin based, Argentinean born Leo Grünbaum. This multi instrumentalist trained musician has worked with a vast amount of bands and combos ranging from electronic to experimental, Funk, Jazz, Tango, Rock to Classical music.

On the “Papone Di Rey” EP Grünbox delivers three emotional and very groovy songs. With influence ranging from techno to deeper house music this amazing package is a pleasure to listen to and is very appealing for any dance floor. The three tracks are reinforced with superb vocals from Victor Magro, Teeny and Nash Zorin. Also on this release is a remix from the American artist, Nick Monaco. With a very imaginative approach, Monaco takes the title track miles from its original foundation but manages to keep the essence of the song in delightful manners…
