The For You track by Jonsson / Alter that has always been around in their live-sets since the very beginning is finally being released on vinyl and in digital format.

There is a whole bunch of good things to say about Jonsson / Alter. They are two swedes living in the heart of Berlin from where they produce intelligent house and techno with a soulful touch. Last year’s full length album MOD was praised as one of top 10 EDM records of the year. Swedish Manifest committee awarded the duo the prize for Best Dance 2012. The list is long.

The best thing about Jonsson / Alter might be that they always play live shows – creating the the whole audiovisual journey from scratch every time using their tracks, remixes, samples and a whole lot live programming. For You featuring the vocals of Eric D probably sounds very familiar to everyone who’s been to one of the duos live gigs or tuned in to one of their podcasts. Finally after over a year it’s being released as a single on vinyl and digitally.

The B-Side Ljuset (meaning The Light) in Swedish is more of a dubby, backbeat odyssey into the smoke filled rooms of Berlin underground, yet with a that touch of soulful light that reaches all they way through the dark percussions.
