HMWL 67 – A Guy Called Gerald (Live in session @ Culture Box)

Today a global legend – A Guy Called Gerald started to experiment with tape edits and drum machines in his attic in Manchester in the late 80s.

Originally a pioneer of Acid house in the late 80s, Geralds production journey has embraced everything from Jungle, Drum’n’bass, Jazz fusion, house and Detroit techno as we know it today.

The exclusive two hour live set is recorded at Culture Box, Copenhagen on the last night of Strøm festival. It’s a mesmerizing journey that successfully combines drum & bass, acid house, techno, house, reggae, jazz, dub and ambient elements in a electrifying way.
