Madhouse Records is one at time confusing, yet monumental part of UK house history. Confusing since their promos are being mailed out by 3 different people – all from Champion Records Accounts. Confusing since their soundcloud bio holds nothing but Kerri Chandler discography 1992 – 2002.  Confusing since their artwork makes you think that they are either into cheesy Hed Kandi house or badly produced east European progressive.

Madhouse has been around for ten years (a co-venture between Mel Medalie and Kerri Chandler). And despite a confusing communication strategy the labels keep delivering  top 10 releases one after another.

This time an EP by the UK veteran Tony Lionni. This is deep house for ground ups. With a whole lot of Detroit influences that will keep the crowd stomping. The way they use to do it. Hypnotize & Bijou are two definite sureshooters.
