One of my favorite labels is celebrating their 25th release. OFF Recordings has been delivering for the most top quality, but at times a bit experimental tracks for exactly 2.5 years. Reling heavily on jazzy, blues, folk music and african influences the label has released artist like Nima Gorji, Dj W!ld, Alex Patz and Bastian Schucter to name a few favourite ones.

OFF25 – Get Back to the raw is a jubileum compilation containing 3 vinyl and a digital release – 15 brand new tracks all in all. As usual we are talking New School production with an Old School touch. Like the back-to-the roots afro american blues piano and vocals on Huxley’s Murnina or klezmer vibes of Dj W!lds  – Suite De Trefle.

The release comes with two mix cds mixed and compiled by the label boss Andre Crom. But foremost it’s great to see a label daring to release a whole compilation on vinyl and not only as a low cost beatport affair. Bigs up!
