Our good friend, partneress in crime and, for some of us, even our favorite hairdresser is about to unleash a debut EP on her own Klasse Records. Berlin-based Johanna Knutsson’s debut Heavy Baby is a vocal driven, pure funk tune that takes us back to the roots of house music.

We are especially impressed by the remix pack that follows. Swedish masterminds Minilogue bring nothing but excellence as usual. Klasses Luca Lozano (also part of Zombie Disco Squad) brings the street dancing funk. And James Creed paints the otherwise this warm and happy Ep with a shadow of deep darkroom house.
