Luca Lozano KLS003 out today and Klasse Recordings X-mas competition

Klasse Recordings brings it to you!

The recently established record label is cherished by everything but verdancy.

On their third release, a four track EP by Luca Lozano the record label proofs it is ripe and ready to strike the dance scene with floor fillers!

“Heaven and Hell” is a warm funky tech-affair, filled with rich disco influences panning over the balance schedule and riding smooth over the very present bass line. The track is not only smooching around with the disco genre, it also provides 90’s hip hop references. Meanwhile it carefully injects a subtle touch of electro in the accentuated stabs. This highly recommended mood lifter will hit the charts! And it will hit it high. The only draw back is, it might become a fast burner. Let’s hope not!

“Got it together” is sweatier. Slightly more firm in it’s direction, late night. Fx’s swirling in the landscape, open hats, all held together by a steady bass line. Not too far reached to call it a modern approach to the big room U.K. Tech-house tracks. I bet Terry Francis, long time resident dj on the infamous night club Fabric in London, will spin this beauty more than once…

The third track on the EP, a Penner + Muder remix of “Heaven and Hell”, emphasizes the disco attributes of the original track. The track’s uplifting stabs are morphed into characterizing a darker, more mellow state of mind and the pitch is brought down a notch.

The last track is a David Keno remix of “Got it Together”. His treatment doesn’t really bring anything new to the track, or at least nothing needful. I’d definitely go for the original!
