Gabriel is back on Circus Company, this time backed by french production trio dOP. The track opens up with a plain, no nonsens 4 to the floor kick backed by cowbells, all against a backdrop of lush summery static. The atmosphere immediately bring productions by Minilogue and Kollektiv Turmstrasse, during the later period of the neotrance wave, to mind. As Illel’s vocals enter the fray and the thick funky bassline drops, it all locks into a slick groove which it rides all the way to the end, with the exception of a small break. The last bit of spice is provided by an organ fading in and out of the mix. Another lounger with open air potential, enjoy!
