Slacker aka Shem McCauley is a producer and a fierce scratch DJ. He was one of the early progressive house pioneers – his track – “Scared” (XL Recordings) is a bona fide prog house classic. Slacker’s latest album “Start A New Life” is out now. A lot of his new material is still on the house/tech tip, but he’s also a dab hand at producing more laidback horizontal tunes, such as this beautiful (and exclusive) track.
