The Swedish chill-wave duo Swim took us by a storm with Next To Me and Lying To You singles released during the Winter 2016. The tracks got numerous spins on BBC 1, BBC 6 and Swedish Radio P3, were praised by Indie Shuffle, JAJAJA, Nordic By Nature and Discobelle and ended up in 8th most popular spot on Hype Machine. The band went on a mini-tour playing solo or alongside Niki and The Dove, Yast and Blackbird Blackbird.

Now Swim return wrapping up the summer season with a new beautiful single Be There. On the flip-side we find the tropical, club-orientated 70-bpm rework by Hallo Halo aka Jon Dasilva & Jonas Nilsson.

“Be there” was written during the spring. It is about choosing different paths. It is about letting go without loosing anything or anyone. It is about to leave without abandoning each other”

says Erika about the single.

About Swim:

The story of swedish duo Swim began online. A producer’s desire to meet a compatible voice and songwriter landed in an exchange of ideas and music between Erika and Carl. After years of touring, record producing and songwriting with various other projects the two musicians channeled their experiences into incipient ideas and visions that were exchanged via cyberspace.

Erika and Carl have conspired to create music for your late evenings, precious moments of solitude, drives along the seaside and the last throbbing hour on the dance floor.
