Subscribe to HMWL’s SwedishElectronica playlist and don’t miss a single track by Swedish Electronic producers like Boeoes Kaelstigen, HNNY, Axel Boman and many more: Spotify / Deezer.

One of our favorite Swedish producer duos Boeoes Kaelstigen (aka Tor Rauden Källstigen and Leo Nathorst-Böös) are long gone from producing melodic progressive space trance (got this one on vinyl I think) to somewhat more pop and radio friendly vocal electronica. Following in the footsteps of the Pitchfork success Boeoes Kaelstigen feat Name the Pet – Be The Lights, the duo readies another vocal collaboration this time with Stockholm based Vanbot.

Good things come in numbers so does the new Boeoes Kaelstigen come with no less than 4 remixes. The cosmic disco down-pitched vocal remix by Gabriel Gassi (aka Gabriel Gruvberg), a breakbeat remix story told by Mats Norman of Mashup International. On the flipside you’ll find a r’n’b influenced remix by another Stockholm duo called Up To No good and finally a super-acoustic piano version for those rainy november days delivered by Kristoffer Wallman. Minimaltrance is no longer trance, space techno is no longer techno. Electronic music these days is one big mixup of root, influences and dreams of the future sound. Big ups to Boeoes Kaelstigen for going their own way.
