The Studio Barnhus veteran Axel Boman equipped himself with a portable studio microphone and went on a hunting trail for the sounds of Stockholm together with Noisey and Philips. Recording real live sounds of the city from a bridge going up, rocks hitting the metal, sounds of the golf clubs hitting the balls to the organ of the Markuskyrkan where he used to sing at the age of 13, Axel quickly got himself a pallete of sounds ready to go into the studio. Back in the studio it’s all about transposing the sounds into midi tones, some imagination and quick finger-work.
Here is the result. Smooth experimental city future-disco.
