Rick Sanders announces his debut album “Gateway” on Smiley Fingers Limited. It is a sound journey through the artistic vision of this young producer, that blends imagery, waves of synths and tech-house appeal . An example of Rick Sanders’s exploration through different styles comes from tracks that merge warm melodies with inspired grooves as “Mademoseille”, “Crystallize “ and “Midnight”, which give way to funk infused tunes like “Theory” and “Airport“, that become gradually tougher, as you can hear on the bass used in “Interface”, and culminates with the dark techno of “Gateway”. “Gateway” is the result of vastly different inspirations and an ever growing musical maturity that will establish Rick’s as one of the most promising new talents in electronic music scene.
